Repiping
Replacing failing or corroded supply piping throughout a home or building. A repipe is the job you do once instead of paying for the same leak in a different spot every eight months.
The case for repiping is usually cumulative rather than dramatic: pressure has dropped at the far end of the house, the hot side runs rusty after a trip away, and you have now had three pinhole leaks in two years. At that point each individual repair is cheap and the sequence of them is not.
Most of a repipe is careful drywall access and putting the house back together properly, not the pipe itself. We plan the runs to keep the number of openings down before anyone cuts anything.
- Whole-home and partial repipes
- Galvanised and failing copper replacement
- Planned access points and patched drywall
- Permitted and inspected
- Repeated pinhole leaks in copper
- Low pressure at fixtures furthest from the heater
- Rusty water after the house sits unused
- Original galvanised supply lines still in service
